A triple Decker sandwich may sound a bit excessive but it’s very delicious. What’s great about it is that you get double the opportunity to combine interesting flavors that all work well together. Pick a couple of complimentary pairs of ingredients and pop one set in each other. Made with a large assortment of vegetables, oodles of butter, a lavish splash of chutney and a peppy sandwich masala, this snack is a real indulgence. Forget the calories and relish this piping hot triple Decker Mumbai roadside sandwich to calm your hunger pangs!

Ingredients
- Bread slices – 9 (You can use any bread of your choice)
- Potato – 4 (Boiled, peeled and sliced)
- Onions – 2 sliced thinly into rings
- Cucumber – 1 sliced
- Tomato – 3 sliced
- Beetroot – 2 (Boiled & sliced)
- Processed cheese – 1 cup (grated)
- Butter – 6 Tbsp (softened at room temperature)
- Green chutney – 6-8 Tbsp
- Sandwich masala – to sprinkle
- Salt – to sprinkle
Instructions
- Apply 1 ½ tsp of butter & 2 tsp of chutney on 3 bread slices and keep aside.
- Place a slice of bread, with the buttered-chutney side facing upwards, on a clean and dry surface and arrange around 6-8 potato slices over it and sprinkle some salt & sandwich masala evenly over it.
- Arrange 6-8 beetroot slices over it. Then add onion rings and sprinkle salt & sandwich masala and place another bread slice facing buttered-chutney side upwards.
- Arrange 8-10 cucumber slices and 6 tomato slices over it. Add grated cheese on top of the tomato slice and sprinkle salt & sandwich masala again.
- Cover with another slice of bread with the buttered-chutney side downwards. Spread a little butter on the bread slice and press it lightly.
- Place the prepared sandwich in a greased and pre-heated griller by turning the sandwich upside down so that the buttered side faces downwards.
- Again spread a little butter on the bread slice and grill it for 2-3 minutes or till the sandwich turns golden brown in color & crisp.
- Repeat the same steps & make 2 more grilled sandwiches.
- Serve immediately with any ketchup or chutney of your choice.
