Ingredients
- Sweet corn kernels - 2 cups ( boiled or steamed)
- Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
- Mustard seeds - 1 Tsp
- Dry red chilies - 2-3
- Green chilies - 2, chopped
- Asafoetida - 1/8 Tsp
- Urad dal split - 1 Tsp
- Curry leaves - 7
- Lime Juice - 1 Tbsp
- Oil - 1 Tbsp
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan. When the oil is hot, lower the flame then add mustard seeds and urad dal. Let the mustard seeds crackle and urad dal turn light golden.
- Add chopped green chilies, asafoetida, dry red chilies and curry leaves. Mix well.
- Add the boiled / steamed corn. Season with some salt. Mix it again.
- Sauté for 2 minutes. Add grated coconut. Mix it well with the corns and spices and switch off the flame.
- Squeeze some lime juice before serving.
