Peanut Chaat

Peanut Chaat is a combination of peanuts, tomatoes, cucumbers and some spices. It is a delicious and satisfying snack not to mention healthy & low-fat! It’s easy to make as well. Make this easy peanut chaat for picnics, parties or for road-trips and you can be rest assured that your stomach and heart will be satisfied.

Ingredients
- Peanuts – 2 cups
- Tomato – 1 large, finely chopped
- Onion – 1 large, finely chopped
- Cucumber – 1 small, finely chopped
- Raw mango – 1 small, peeled and finely chopped (optional)
- Coriander leaves – 2 Tbsp, chopped
- Salt to taste
- Cumin powder – ½ Tsp
- Chaat masala - 1 Tsp
- Green chili – 1, finely chopped
- Red chili powder – ½ Tsp
- Lemon juice – 1 Tbsp
- Fried boondi – for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Soak the peanuts for 2 hrs. Pressure cook the peanuts with little salt and required water for 3-4 whistles.
- Drain the excess water and transfer the peanuts to a wide mixing bowl. Let it cool down a bit.
- Add all the ingredients to the boiled peanuts and toss well.
- Adjust the spices as per your taste.
- Serve with lemon wedge on the side and garnish with fried boondi.
