Quick appetizer, Honey Chili Potatoes. It's a bit sweet, hot and at the same time very flavorful dish. All in all, it's a must try recipe to satisfy your hunger for some Indo-Chinese snack!

For the dry batter
- All purpose flour - 2 Tbsp
- Cornflour - 2 Tbsp
- Salt - 1/2 Tsp
- Oil - 1 Tbsp
For the Liquid batter
- All purpose flour - 2 Tbsp
- Cornflour - 2 Tbsp
- Salt - 1/2 Tsp
- Oil - 1 Tbsp
- Water - 1/4 cup (the consistency should be of pakora batter)
For the sauce
- Medium sized potatoes - 2
- Green Onions - 3
- Green capsicum - 1/2
- Garlic cloves - 5
- Honey - 2 Tbsp
- Chili Sauce - 1 Tsp
- Dark Soy sauce - 1 Tbsp
- Black Pepper - 1/2 Tsp
- Tomato Ketchup - 1/2 Tsp
- Sesame Seeds - 1/2 for Garnish
- Salt - 1/2 Tsp
- Chopped Spring onions - 1 Tsp for Garnish
Instructions
- Coat the Potatoes twice first with a dry batter & then with the liquid batter.
- Fry in hot oil until golden brown & Crisp.
- In a separate pan, heat oil, add garlic, green onions & saute for 2 minutes, Add capsicum, cook for 1 more minute, add soy sauce, chili sauce, salt, black pepper, tomato ketchup. Cook for 1 minute.
- Add Honey in sauce after turning the flame off.
- Add fried potatoes & mix gently.
- Garnish with chopped spring onions & sesame seeds.
- Serve hot.
