Ingredients
- Salmon - 2 fillets ( I prefer to use skinless salmon )
- Olive oil - 1 Tbsp
- Salt - 1 Tsp
- Red chili powder - 1/2 Tsp
- Onion powder - 1 Tsp
- Ground cumin - 1 Tsp
- Black pepper powder - 1 Tsp
For Avocado Salsa
- Avocado - 1, cut into cubes
- Red onion - 1/2, sliced
- Lime juice - 2 Tbsp
- Cilantro - 1 Tbsp, chopped
Instructions
- Mix the salt, chili powder, onion powder, ground cumin, black pepper powder together.
- Rub the salmon with olive oil and this seasoning mix on both sides.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Combine the avocado, onion, cilantro, and lime juice in a bowl and mix well, chill until ready to use.
- Preheat the grill.
- Grill the salmon as desired. (I grilled for about 5 minutes)
- Top with avocado salsa and enjoy!
Notes
- Salmon is easy to overcook so watch yours carefully.
- You will notice the fat beginning to leave the fish (it will look like some white on the sides of the salmon) right before it’s done.
